You see a basketball bouncing in the court, and then
you see a man that’s about six feet. You see him take the ball
and dribble four times and then he shoots...…swish! Then you
start to see flash backs from the past. Michael Jordan the “Air
Jordan" or "His Airness" on the Chicago Bulls back in the 80’s.
But don’t forget he was born on February 17, 1963 in
Brooklyn, New York. Jordan weighed about 200lbs. He went to
Emsley A. Laney for high school. Then he went to North
Carolina for college (1981-1984).He was a whole career was
1984 -2003.
When Jordan started playing for the Bulls he quickly
gained skill to be a league star, entertaining crowds with his
ability. You should see leaping ability; he made a slam dunk
from the free throw line in slam dunk contests. In 1991, he
won his first NBA championship with the Bulls. The
achievement with titles in 1992 and 1993, securing a “three-peat”. Although Jordan retired from
basketball at the beginning of the 93–94 NBA. He started to play baseball after his first
retirement. On October 6, 1993, he announced his retirement, he just loss desire to play
basketball. Later Jordan stated that his father was murdered on July 23, 1993, at a highway rest
area in Lumberton, North Carolina. The people who killed his father were teenagers named
Daniel Green and Martin Demery. He rejoined the Bulls in 1995 and led them to three additional
championships 1996, 1997, and 1998 as well as an NBA-record 72 regular-season wins in the 95
- 96 NBA season. Jordan retired for a second time in 1999, but returned for two more NBA
seasons from 2001 to 2003 as a member of the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan retired
three times, but to keep in shape he played golf in the champions in 2007.
Then you See Jordan take one free throw shot but this time you see him throw half court
and wait for it, wait for it, swish! He made a half court! So the next time you see a man about six
feet tall in the basketball court, you might want to see his history of his life in the past.But you still
might want to get his autograph.
