In my free time I like to do lots of different things and I have lots of interests.
First, I enjoy hanging out with my friends. Sometimes we meet at my house
and then go out. We often go to concerts or the cinema.
I also spend a lot of time online checking my emails, chatting with friends and
writing my blog. Finally, I love sports and games. I play football in the school
team and we practise every Tuesday and Thursday. I also love
skateboarding.
My favourite game is chess, but I am just a beginner. I hope to learn more
about it at the youth club.

How are you? Thanks for your letter. I'm writing to tell you what I've done for
my fancy dress party.
So, I've sent the invitations. I’ve sent 25! I decided to send them online. I've
already had 10 replies!
I've also chosen what refreshments to have at the party. And I’ve decided
about the food. We're going to order pizzas because they're cheap but
yummy! I think everyone likes pizza.
Finally, I've arranged the music and the games. I've asked friends to bring
some of their CDs and video games. I'm very excited! I love parties. They're
amazing!

Hello Becky!
Here I am in Moscow, Russia! I can’t believe it! It is so exciting. I am staying
with my friend, Anastasia, and her family. They are very nice people.
I arrived here on Friday and I've already visited some very interesting places.
Tomorrow Anastasia and I are going to go on a guided tour of Moscow. It
starts at 8 o'clock in the morning so I'll have to get up early. I want to have
breakfast before I go! I know it'll be great fun. I’ll take lots of photos.
I’ll email you when I get back home and tell you all about it!

How are you? Thanks for your letter. So, you were told to write about gadgets
in your technology class. That's interesting.
I love gadgets! I use my mobile phone a lot to send text messages and I often
use my MP3 player to listen to music when I'm walking to and from school. I
often take photos with my phone, too.
I don't have a computer but I'd like to because I could use it to chat with my
friends.
I believe some people use gadgets too much. I think some kids spend too
much time playing video games and surfing the Net.

Hi Roberto!
Here I am in Russia! I can't believe it but I'm in Moscow! It's a beautiful city
where the people are very polite and generous. The buildings are amazing
and there are some great shops.
Last night when I went out I visited a fantastic restaurant. It was called Café
Puschkin and it was on Tverskoy Bulvar.
I went to the restaurant with my friend, Bjorn, and his sister. He invited us
because it was his birthday.
I had some fish fried in butter and some vegetables. I also had some vanilla
ice cream. It was very tasty! I like Russian food!

If I could, I'd change lots of things to be more fashionable. I love looking
fashionable.
First, I'd change my clothes. At the moment I wear clothes that aren't very
trendy. I think if I wore clothes that were more fashionable, I'd look better.
I'd also change my hair. Right now my hair is long and black. I think it'd look
great if it was shorter and dyed blond! I might have spikes, too!
Finally, I would change my body … but just a little! I think if I come on your
programme, I'll be cooler and more fashionable than I am now, and I'll be the
best guest you've ever had!

How are you? I hope things are going well. Thanks for your letter. I usually
watch a lot of TV too! I can't at the moment because I'm studying for my
exams.
My favourite TV programme is called The X Factor. Have you ever watched
it? It is fantastic! I love the groups and some of the singers are really goodlooking!
It is on every week (usually Mondays) and I love it! It's a competition where
people sing. The best part of the programme is when they choose the winner.
It is very exciting! Some of the winners have become very popular and have
made CDs. That's cool, isn't it?
