NOTES FROM THE MANAGER
We wish everyone a Healthy
and Happy New Year.

At the HOA board meeting, held on
December 10, 2009, the board approved
the opening of the Recreation Center and
pool on Mondays starting Memorial Day
through Labor Day from 9am-10pm.
The board will review the hours again at
that time.

Angel’s Landscaping is
doing the snow plowing,
shoveling and salting for the
complex. His crew will
start plowing at different
areas of the complex for a
more fair distribution of
labor. Your patience on
heavy snow days is
appreciated. As much as we
try, some areas will be
slippery during and after a
snow or ice storm. Please
be careful.
DuraGuard Protective Coating
Specialists will be applying a polyester
fabric to the roof of the recreation center.
This will seal all the leaks that we have
had for many years.
Comcast Cable is in the process of
adding DTA Transition Box to each unit.
This will allow you expanded basic
programming. Each unit will be given
2-3 boxes at no charge. You will need
one box for each television. You should
be receiving a postcard from Comcast
within the next 6 months with a number
to call to order your DTA Digital
Transition Boxes. Call Comcast with any
additional questions at 1-866-594-1234.
We met with the Cook County Sheriff’s
Department a couple of months ago to
discuss concerns about loitering and
crime in our community. They have
increased patrols within Triumvera and
suggested that all homeowners who
witness any suspicious activity call 911
immediately. I have enclosed a
neighborhood watch poster that has
important numbers on the back.

Triumvera’s Recreation Center is Open
Tuesday-Sunday 9am-10pm. Office
hours are Tuesday- Friday 9am to 5pm.
CHANGES, WE HAVE CHANGES
We have put together a list of all the
suggestions we have received. Some
ideas have already been acted upon. We
will be reviewing the list to see how we
can accommodate as many of these
requests as possible.
We will be purchasing a new set
of free weights for the gym soon.

The whirlpool has been
repaired.

Movie night will be every 3rd
Friday of the month starting
February 19th. Our party room
has all the equipment necessary
for a fun night.

Our party room is for rent by
owners for special occasions and
is available for association
sponsored programs (see more
under suggestions.) The room is
equipped with a large screen TV,
DVD/VCR player and a fully
equipped kitchen.

Our Library has been expanded
and organized, thanks to a
resident of The Tower. We all
greatly appreciate it. Bring in
your slightly used books and if
you borrow a book, please return
it others to enjoy.
We have started collecting homeowner’s
email addresses for alternative
communication means. Stop by the
office and drop off your email address.
Keep the Date Open
March 7th We will be having a
Brunch at the recreation center at
11:30am, come meet your
neighbors – more information to
follow.
Thoughts While Shaving

We continue to meet with
the local government including the
Village of Glenview, Water
Reclamation district, IDOT and
our local State Representative,
Elaine Nekritz and our State
Senator, Susan Garrett on our
storm-related water problems.
You might have noticed that
work has stopped on the shopping
center on our corner after the
developer filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy protection. However,
transparent plastic seals have been
placed on the openings on the
buildings. A security crew is
onsite to ensure that no
unauthorized activities or removal
of materials or equipment is
initiated by anyone. The Village
of Glenview is monitoring the site
to ensure that there is adequate
security fencing in place. We will
follow the developments and keep
you informed.

In a matter of safety, the
Glenview Fire Department has
ordered all of our multi unit
buildings ( The Tower, Midrises,
Capri, Appian Way, Naples and
Forum Square) to install separate
water pumps for fire department
and domestic water use.
The domestic-use pumps
will be purchased and installed by
The Village of Glenview and are
expected to be installed in March
sometime. We will notify you of
the water shut-off dates with as
much notice as possible. Each of
the affected associations has paid a
deposit on the mandated fire
department water pumps which
will be installed after the domestic
water pumps are in and connected.

Reminder: As a cost saving’s
move, Triumvera will use the 2009
Vehicle Stickers through the 2010
year.

We are looking into providing
wireless internet service to the
recreation center.

If you want to be sure you

and search. This will pull up all of
the websites with information
about the product so you can
research the product or view
vendors.
