1920’s ORAL REPORTS PROJECT The project: Each student will be paired with another student and this group will be assigned a piece of history to research. There is no written paper that is involved in this project unless the students want to pass one in for extra credit. This must be discussed with the teacher prior to the presentation of the project. Time: Each group of two will be required to make a presentation of minimum 10 minutes. If there is a group of three than the presentation must be a minimum of 15 minutes. Materials need: The group must have with them at the time of their presentation a visual to accompany the oral report. Stick to these requirements and you will be fine. Library: We will have a library period in which you will have time to research your project. On the last page of your rubric you can see that your library time will be graded. You must use your time in the library effectively in order to get full credit for that part of the assignment. Grading: Now on to everyone’s favorite part. Your oral presentation will accumulate to one test grade. At the end of the presentations we will also have a test on the information provided to you. I will fill in any blanks after presentations are complete so you will have the information that you need. Take notes during the presentations.
