Grants for those studying to become doctors or
dentists. Grants are primarily given to students
who are studying medicine after obtaining a first
degree in another subject.
This type of grant is determined by the need of
the applicant and may consist of a one-off grant,
small regular allowance, or loan.
One-off and recurrent grants for a variety of
needs. Recent grants have been given for hospital
travel costs, house repairs, general living
expenses, mobility aids, retraining and home
help.

Coats Foundation Trust
The Coats Foundation Trust is a
charity which was established by
Coats with the aim of helping to

to study. It was initially set up in
1974 and provides grants to

aged, powerless or in conditions
