In vitro and in vivo models for studing immunotherapy
1. Generation of cytotoxic lymphocytes in culture by cytokines including, activated
natural killer cells from splenocytes and tumor infiltrating lymphocytes expanded
from the tumors after growing in mice.
2. Measurment of cytotoxic activity of cells in-vitro using
51
chromium-labeled tumor
targets (chromium release assay).
3. Measurement of efficacy of monoclonal antibodies in mediating antibody-dependent
cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) in culture.
4. Effect of various anti-metabolites on the lymphocytes activity in-vitro.
5. Immunotherapy models in mice on established lung metastases.
