Administrative Assistant - under the supervision of the Program Director, performs clerical, secretarial and
administrative duties for all staff. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with three years secretarial
and/or receptionist experience, Microsoft Word, and Excel, strong typing (50 WPM), excellent written and verbal
communications skills.
Edgecombe, Harbor
Admission Counselor- responsible for completing the clinical assessment leading to the appropriate level of care
admission and/or referral for all potential candidates for the Odyssey House, Inc. continuum of care. Services
provided include advocacy efforts, clinical assessment, an understanding of the LOCATDR 3 and 822 Admission
tools, as well as and orienting prospective patients to the Odyssey House admissions process. Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical discipline preferred. Minimum of High School Diploma and CASAC with 3 years’
experience in a clinical setting.
Outpatient
Admissions Specialist (PT) – responsible for service provision leading to the effective and appropriate processing
of potential inductions to the Odyssey House residential programs. Services provided include advocacy efforts,
program interviews, obtaining information, and orientating prospective residents during the Odyssey House
admissions process. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years’ experience working in a social
service setting. CASAC or CASAC-T required. Candidates lacking this credential must be able to obtain this
minimum standard during the six (6) month introductory employment probation period.
Manor
Deputy Director - The Deputy Director is responsible for oversight of job performance, guidance and direct
supervision of the social worker and counseling staff. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and four (4)
years of experience working in a human service setting preferred. One (1) year of experience delivering
supervision preferred. Qualified Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC etc.).
Manor
Case Manager- The Case Manager is responsible for mental health/substance abuse and supportive counseling,
intervention services, education services and concrete services. She/he works directly with residents in individual
and group sessions on issues surrounding mental illness and chemical abuse/dependency and advocates a drugfree and medication compliant approach. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years of
experience working in a clinical, mental health, housing or chemical dependency setting. Certification as
Qualified Mental Health Professional, CASAC, CRC, LMHC, and LMSW required. Bilingual must speak Spanish
and English.
Haven, Tinton
Childcare Worker (PT) - Monitors childcare resource room and maintains a safe environment for children.
Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in a community day care or children’s residential setting or
High School Diploma or GED and Child Developmental Associate Credential Approval by the National Association
for the Education of Young Children or Six months of experience in a community day care or children’s residential
setting and currently enrolled in an undergraduate Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Human
Services program.
Manor
Counselor - responsible for providing counseling and case management services related to substance abuse,
legal, mental health, medical and vocational/educational issues. Requirements: CASAC required. Bachelor’s Level
Clinical Degree and one (1) years of experience or High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years experience.
Edgecombe, Manor
Junior Counselor- The Junior Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and case management services
related to substance abuse, legal, mental health, medical and vocational/educational issues. Requirements: High
School Diploma or G.E.D. and six (6) months experience working in a social service setting. CASAC-T required.
Candidates lacking this credential must be able to obtain this minimum standard during the first year of
employment.
GRCR
Counselor, Sr. - responsible for providing counseling and case management services working directly with the
residents in individual and group counseling sessions. He/she functions in a leadership role within the clinical
team and provides guidance and direction to the Counselors. Requirements: Bachelor’s Level Clinical Degree and
two (2) years of experience or High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience. CASAC required.

Cook (PT/FT) – responsible for preparing and serving meals. HSD or equiv. Food Handler License a MUST.
Lafayette, Manor, Haven
Facility Manager- The Facility Manager is responsible for oversight of job performance, guidance and direct
supervision of all facility Staff On Duties, Night Staff, Food Service and Maintenance Workers. Requirements:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. required. Two (2) years of experience working in a human service setting preferred.
One (1) year of experience delivering supervision preferred. Experience in building management including fire
alarm, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Lafayette
Food Service Worker (PT) - Under direct supervision, employees in this position prepare and serve food as
assigned by the Head Cook in accordance with departmental policies, and state and federal health codes.
Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Minimum of six (6) months experience in the culinary
field, preferably, in a non-profit institution. Must have a valid Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection.
Harbor
Licensed Clinician – provides individual and group counseling services to individuals engaged in Medication
Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocol. Utilizes Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) during weekly individual
sessions. Responsible for ensuring discharge planning incorporates access to ambulatory MAT services. This will
include assistance with determining Medicaid eligibility. Licensed Clinician (LMSW, LMHC, etc.) and two years’
experience working with individuals diagnosed with a substance abuse disorder required. Experience with
Medication Assisted Treatment preferred.

Maintenance Worker (FT) - responsible for all custodial, renovations, safety code and emergency situations in
the facility. He/she also supervises the cleaning and house-keeping operation. Requirements: Vocational school
training or HSD and three years experience.
Haven
Night Staff (FT&PT) - The Night Staff is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security of the facility
through supervision of residents. Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D required. Prior experience working
in a clinical, mental health, housing or chemical dependency setting preferred.
Manor
Outreach Coordinator – The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for establishing goals and policies;
implementing procedures; supervising the delivery of all outreach services relative to the agency admissions
process, and assuring that performance targets are attained. Requirements: NYS QHP status (CRC, LCSW,
LMSW, CASAC, and LMHC) required. Master's in Social Work or a Master’s Degree in a Human Services related
field preferred.
Manor, Harbor
Pharmacy Technician- The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assuring that each resident has timely access
to all medications as ordered by the prescribing professional. Requirements: Minimum of (1) year experience
working in a social service setting required. High School Diploma. Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Manor, Harbor
Porter – responsible for cleaning, maintaining and organizing of the internal and external facility. Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
Harbor
Program Director – responsible for the overall operations and coordination of the Odyssey Behavioral Health
Community Residence operation and coordination of an OASAS 819 certified and funded residential services
program. He/she is responsible for the actions, job performance and guidance of all program employees, and for
the direct supervision of the staff. Requirements: Master’s Level Clinical Degree preferred or Bachelor’s Degree
and 5 years administrative or clinical experience. Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC,
CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC etc.)

Recovery Coach- The Recovery Coach is responsible for providing community-based recovery services to an
assigned caseload of clients enrolled in the BUY-In program. He/she is responsible for conducting outreach
activities for the BUY-In. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Connecticut Community for Addiction
Recovery (CCAR) certification, to be obtained within six months of hire.
Outpatient
Rehabilitation Coordinator- The Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing activities of
rehabilitation counseling. Responsible for overseeing activities related to improving residents’ adult daily living
skills, personal self-management, and community integration skills. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human
Service or Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with 2 years related work experience and 1 year
supervisory experience. CASAC-T, CASAC, CRC, LMHC, LMSW required.
Harbor
Registered Nurse- The Registered Nurse will provide nursing and public health services to program consumers
and/or members of the community served by the employing unit ensuring that all medical schedules provided are
followed. Requirements: Registered Nurse License with a current New York State Certificate of Registration.
Current CPR Certificate and first Aid Certificate. Minimum of (3) years working in a social service setting and post
licensure experience required.
GRCR
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (PT& FT) - responsible for providing services which assist clients in
obtaining necessary education, vocational skills, interests and work attitudes in order to secure employment.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with 1 year related work experience preferred.
Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) required.
