SEBA SCOTTISH BRED HORSE/PONY OF THE YEAR 2015 Rules for the competition for 2015 1. The previous overall winner is not eligible to compete again. 2. The previous finalists are eligible to compete again. 3. SEBA member organisations are invited to seek nominations from within their own group/society, and they select their chosen animal to go forward as a finalist for 2014. The non-Breed Society members (BHS Scotland & NPS Scotland) will need to have a reserve and second reserve choice in the event of them choosing the same animal selected by a Breed Society, as the Breed Society choice will take precedent in such circumstances. 4. Details of finalists must be sent to the Secretary ONLY ON THE OFFICIAL FORM, to be received by 31 January 2016, to include a photograph of the animal, and a maximum of 150 words of supporting text. Nominations not submitted on the official form will not be counted. 5. The Secretary will circulate the details of all finalists by 5 February 2106. 6. Members cannot vote for their own nominated finalist. Members not nominating an animal are not eligible to vote in the competition. 7. Voting MUST give 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices (2nd and 3rd choices will only be used in the event of a tie). Any group not submitting a 2nd and 3rd choice will not be counted. 8. Voting results must be sent to the Secretary by 5 March 2016. 9. Winners will be announced in the press, and the presentation of the trophy and rosettes will be made at the AGM in April 2016.
