Traditional Year
The 2005 -2006 calendar reflects May 25, 2006 as a half-day. In order to meet
the transportation requirements of a half-day, we will use the first in, first out rule
and transport middle/high school students home at 11:30 a.m. Noel middle
school will be transported at 12:05 p.m. The 3:00 p.m. elementary schools will be
transported at 12:05 p.m. and the 3:45 p.m. elementary schools will be
transported at 12:45 p.m. We simply do not have the necessary buses/drivers to do
all at the same time. Further, PM kindergartens last school day will be May 24, 2006.
Full-day and A.M. kindergarten students can ride in on the morning buses on May 25th
and go home on the 12:05/12:45 p.m. buses.
Continuous Year
The 2005-2006 calendar reflects June 7, 2006 as a half-day for continuous year
(elementary) schools. The one exception is Pioneer Charter School. In meeting
the transportation requirements of a half-day, we will be able to transport all
students home at 11:45 a.m. Further, PM kindergartens last school day will be June
6, 2006. Full-day and A.M. kindergarten students can ride in on the morning buses on
June 7th and go home at 11:45 p.m.
