Dying Matters: There will be a talk by one of our parishioners, Dr Rachel Newman, a specialist in palliative and and dying care, in the Parish Hall at Falmouth at 7.30pm on Thursday 19th May. This should be a very informative talk on a vital issue these days. Rachel is also speaking at County Hall – ‘How much does dying matter to you?’ – on Saturday 21st May from 2pm to 4.30pm. Diocesan Pilgrimage to Launceston: This pilgrimage in honour of St Cuthbert Mayne is on Sunday 22nd of June beginning at 3.00pm – details are on their parish website: www.stcuthbertmayne.org.uk The X-Factor comes to the Parish: We are already planning our annual Harvest Supper, which will take place this year at the Penventon Hotel, Redruth. But, now is the time to brush up that party piece – sketch – song – musical item. We want to make it an evening to remember (for the right reasons). Christians Together in Camborne: CTC are holding their annual Safari Supper on Saturday 14th May 2011, commencing at 5.30pm with Soup at Centenary Chapel, Main Course at Camborne Wesley, Dessert at the Anglican Parish Church (Ss Martin & Meriadec) and ending with Coffee Cheese and Biscuits at St John’s The cost is £3.50 per head.
