Nature of work To independently manage High Risk cases such Preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome, Hypertensive crises,
2 years and cardiac Cases. We have been rigorously trained
in Critical care obstetrics. Participation in various
obstetric drills and Labour management involving
emergency caesarean sections.
In addition Training in obstetric ultrasonography and
Managing Fetal medicine cases was part of the
curriculum. Performance of First trimester screening
and Target scan was a routine.
Remarks Two year Fellowship (NBE) including six months
training in obstetric ultrasonography makes me
competent in handling and diagnosis high risk cases
including maternal and Fetal medicine.

1. MS Thesis: Comparative efficacy of PGE1, PGE2 and nitric oxide donors in
induction of labour.
2. Dissertation in FNB: Universal verses targeted screening of thyroid disorders
complicating pregnancy and its maternal and perinatal outcome.
3. Additional Research: Characteristics of near miss cases in a tertiary referral
care center in India.
