The conference will be held at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), October 8 through 10. KSS will offer the full-featured simulation conference, including the topics of methodology, wide variety of application areas, education of simulation and state of the art tutorials. KSS will also provide the exhibits of top companies in the simulation industry to catch up on the latest innovations. The conference schedule is designed to blend formal presentations with visits to the exhibit areas, evening events in a friendly setting and post conference tours of Korean industrial parks. (All submission will undergo a blind review.) EXTENDED SUMMARY Those individuals interested may submit an extended summary of the study. The extended summary must include a description of the work, results and the most relevant references. Accepted paper will be published in the conference proceedings. TUTORIAL Individuals interested in conducting tutorial are invited to submit 500-1000 word proposal covering objectives and the names/addresses of tutorial members. All accepted proposals will appear in the conference proceedings (Note: All tutorial members must register and pay for the conference). Any equipment needed other than overhead projector and screen is at the discretion of the presenter and it will be his or her responsibility to provide the extra equipment. Submission Deadlines and Requirements: 30th June 2001: Extended Abstract Due Extended abstract limited to a total of 500 words with double space should be submitted. The extended abstract should include address of the author(s), summary, a description of the work, results, and contribution. Submissions can also be made by e-mail in Ms-Word, pdf or postscript format. The accepted papers will have to be submitted in camera ready format. 31st July, 2001: Acceptance Notification Contributors will be notified whether their papers have been accepted or not. Instructions for preparing manuscripts will be available at http://www.seoulsim.org. 31st August, 2001: Camera-Ready Manuscript Due Authors electronically submit a camera-ready manuscript to the Proceeding Chair.
