2) Clearly identify how this project contributed to the advancement of Alberta/Canadian
value-added beef in exports markets.

the CCMDC Strategic Marketing Plan.
4) The report should clearly state whether the project progressed as was set out in the
proposal. If it did not progress as expected, please explain. Please also include all

CCMDC ELIGIBLE COSTS
"Eligible Marketing Costs" means costs reasonably Expended for Eligible Marketing
Activities by the Recipient and the Marketing Groups including costs associated with
overhead or administrative expenditures dedicated to Eligible Marketing Activities and
such costs when incurred by organizations other than the Recipient and the Marketing
Groups if such Expenditures would otherwise meet the requirements of this Funding
Agreement;
"Eligible Export Marketing Activities" being those activities of the Recipient and the
Marketing Groups required to implement the Strategic Beef Market Development Plan
but not limited to:
(a) Development and implementation of product promotion, advertising, marketing
campaigns, seminars and training program,
(b) Support to incoming and outgoing trade missions,
(c) Participation in trade shows,
(d) Support to the regulatory authorities of foreign countries for the purpose of official
visits to Canada to review the safety and quality of Canadian beef,
(e) Completion of market research
(f) Activities related to the development and marketing of new products, and
(g) Product development, research and marketing measures to assist producers and
processors to enhance their capability to differentiate beef and beef products to
develop customer loyalty in export markets
"Eligible Domestic Marketing Activities" being those activities of the Recipient and the
Marketing Groups required to implement the Strategic Beef Market Development Plan
but not limited to product development, research and marketing measures to assist
producers and processors to increase value for Commercial Beef.
