It teaches students how to communicate methods, results and interpretations using the vocabulary of statistics. Students are expected to read, complete and check daily homework assignments and will be assigned projects to reinforce chapter concepts. Students receive instruction in four conceptual themes, with appropriate emphasis given to each theme. In AP Calculus, there is an emphasis on multi-representation. Problems dealing with limits, derivatives, integrals, sequences and series are presented and solved graphically, numerically, algebraically, and verbally. The BC curriculum covers college Calculus 1 and 2. The course is presented in a rigorous manner and. students must be in the habit of doing and understanding their homework as well as checking it.
