previous requests from teams to ensure that
no player becomes an illegal player.

Each team is required to supply four people
over the age of fourteen years to do canteen
duty. GNA allocates the week of duty. The
TWNC Canteen Convener will allocate the
time of duty. Teams who fail to supply the
required number of people will incur the fine
imposed by GNA. Umpires, coaches and
managers are not expected to do canteen

Spectators
Spectator behaviour is covered by our
member protection policy. Coaches and
managers are responsible to ensure that
their sideline behaves appropriately.
Summer night competition
A summer night netball competition
commences after the winter netball season.
Registrations are taken directly by GNA and
not through the TWNC registrar. Teams need
to supply their own umpire who is paid
directly by the team. They may wear TWNC
uniform and will be subject to the policies of
the club.
Training
To gain the most benefit from playing a team
sport, players should commit to attending
training. Most teams train at Adcock Park as
there are lights and toilet facilities on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Nettas generally train on Saturdays before
their 9 o’clock game.
Uniform
The club playing uniform consists of a top
and skirt in the approved club style and
colours – sky blue, black and white. Black
scungies are to be worn underneath the skirt.
Uniforms can be ordered and paid for at the
time of registration in early February.
The club does not hold stocks of second
hand uniforms. However, contact the club’s
uniform officer with your details (including
cost) if you have second hand uniforms for
sale or require uniforms and we may be able
to help.
Umpires must umpire in all whites or club
uniform only.
Website
The club maintains a website to inform
members of its activities. The club secretary
maintains this site.
Umpiring
Each senior team requires up to four umpires
who have a current theory pass. The
umpire’s convener allocates umpiring duties
according to the roster provided by the GNA
umpires committee. This allocation is known
not less than a week in advance.
