Year 4 (and Year 2) will be studying Hinduism. Children will learn about The Festival of Divali, the story of Rama and Sita, and the Ramayana, one of the sacred writings of Hinduism. We have a trip to the Hindu temple in Preston on the 14th November, and are planning to have a guest speaker talk to us about Hinduism. Christianity- Light Explore the concept of Jesus as the light of the world and the metaphor of bringing light into people’s lives. Faith Street (3 weeks) Romans and Vikings Autumn 2 History Our Roman topic will carry on after our Faith Street topic, and we will also do some work on the Vikings.
