ORDER:1. In supersession of the orders issued in the G.O. 1st read above,
Government hereby change the nomenclature of the "Relief wing" of Revenue
Department as "Disaster Management wing" of Revenue Department with the
responsibility of looking at the whole cycle of disaster management - Prevention,
mitigation, preparedness, response, Relief and Rehabilitation of the State with
immediate effect.
2. Government also hereby change the designation of "Commissioner for Relief
and E.O. Secretary to Government, Revenue (Relief) Department" as
"Commissioner for Disaster Management & E.O. Secretary to Government,
Revenue(Disaster Management) Department".
