TRAINING PLAN: Sales and Marketing Associate 1. Area: Salesforce.com Activity: Trainee will learn this contact management software program to enter new leads and follow up on existing leads to determine where they are in the sales cycle. They will go through all of the help windows, read the documentation, go through the training presentations. Competency: Trainee should be proficient user of software. Time/Hours: 160 hours 2. Area: PBXNSIP Software Activity: Trainee will learn the company’s specific software based phone system in order to provide online demonstrations and also learn to conduct basic sales webinars. Competency: Ability to interact with software to provide customer demonstrations and conduct webinars. Time/Hours: 240 hours 3. Area: Process Orders Activity: Trainee will learn how to process all orders that are generated by the sales department. They will learn how to create an invoice in Net suite (NS) which is our accounting system. They will learn how to generate license keys when an order is received and attach them to the invoice. They will learn how to process credit cards in NS and to use Google checkout to process credit cards. They will also learn how to update license keys. They will also track and bill for the monthly sales rentals that are perpetual. Time/Hours: 120 4. Area: Reseller Program Activity: Trainee will learn structure of Reseller Program and learn to apply it on a regular basis to ensure clients receive follow-up, understand and are selling the product(s). Competency: Understanding of Reseller Program and ability to apply it on regular basis with client base. Time/Hours: 160 5. Area: Newsletters Activity: Trainee will learn to develop an ability to create newsletters in order to communicate new product offerings to the channel of contacts and keep them informed of company offerings. Competency: Ability to create company newsletter to promote company products and offerings. Time/Hours: 100 6. Area: Product Knowledge Activity: Trainee needs to learn the company products and be able to make cold calls as well calls to established customer base and not fear rejection. The trainee should understand Voip and how the product fits into the Volp industry. Acquiring an understanding of IP phones from Snorm, Polycom, Aastra, and Cisco is important. Competency: A clear understanding of company products and confidence in making calls to established customers as well as cold calls. Time/Hours: 100 hours 7. Area: Sales Presentations Activity: Trainee will learn methods and principles for promoting, showing and selling the products.
