REQUIREMENTS OF DATA DAY
 Before Data Day
o Leadership must have analyzed the data
and have a solid understanding of data
before leading PLCs on Data Day
o Submit your school planning document to
your ED, Allison, and Sherrard by 10/3
 During
o Principal must attend ALL day
o Elem: Focus on analyzing relevant, current
data that you’ve selected, Group students
for Tier 1, Tier 2 (based on where you are
in the process after Tier 1 training)
o Secondary: Focus on CORE analysis and
instructional commitments
 After
o LT debriefs outcomes and next steps of the
Data Day.
o LT must follow up on PLCs instructional
commitments captured on Tier 1 or
appropriate paperwork/data collection
o Work with your school’s COMPASS
Specialists to locate resources, materials
o Within 2 weeks of school-level Data Day,
must finalize and document student groups
for tier 2 interventions/support
