ADVANCED ANIMAL STEM CELL TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHES IN U.S. AND CANADA
MediVet-America introduces affordable “in-clinic” Adipose Stem Cell Procedure Kits for veterinarians
NEW YORK―MediVet-America today announced a major scientific advancement in animal stem cell regenerative
therapy for pets and other animals suffering from osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, ligament and cartilage injuries, and many
forms of other degenerative diseases.
For the first time, when using MediVet-America’s new, drug-free Adipose Stem Cell Procedure Kit, veterinary
practitioners can perform this autologous procedure entirely in their own clinics more quickly, effectively and
economically compared to first generation animal stem cell therapy. The new treatment is being launched in the United
States and Canada, where a total of $68 billion is spent annually on pet care.
Stem cell therapy can lengthen and rejuvenate the quality of life for dogs, cats and horses experiencing arthritis,
lameness, pain and a restricted range of motion. Previously, veterinarians were limited to prescribing anti-inflammatory
medicine or performing expensive surgery such as hip replacements and other invasive procedures.
“This new technology marks a significant milestone in regenerative veterinary medicine,” said MediVet-America
spokesman Dr. Mike Hutchinson, D.V.M., a leading practitioner in stem cell therapy who has performed more than 75
Adipose Stem Cell treatments on dogs and cats. “My independent research verifying MediVet’s superior results in stem
cell count and activation has made me a staunch believer, and I’m excited to share this news with my colleagues.
“We are now able to bring the results of hundreds of millions of dollars of research directly into clinics for our companion
animal patients,” Hutchinson said. “I believe adult stem cells and MediVet’s new application signifies the biggest
breakthrough in veterinary medicine I have seen since entering the field 24 years ago.

“This cutting-edge technology is highly important to vet practitioners, because we’ve discovered that 65 percent of
animals may benefit from stem cell regenerative therapy.”
How the technology works
Stem cells harvested from the animal’s own fatty tissue are administered to accelerate the healing of muscles and joints
damaged by injury, disease or degeneration. Following years of research, MediVet-America’s clinical trial results show
enhanced stem cell repair using an advanced, patented L.E.D. technology that activates millions of dormant cells already
present in an animal’s own fat tissue.
MediVet-America’s kit and equipment enable veterinarians to remove a small sample of fat, separate stem cells from the
fat, then activate and inject the cells into the affected area.
This unique in-clinic treatment is completed same day—within hours of fat collection—instead of using the old method of
shipping samples to an outside laboratory for stem cell extraction and waiting days for the cells to be returned to the vet
for injection. MediVet-America’s process delivers higher stem cell counts and a more effective treatment, while sharply
reducing costs.
“Now veterinarians can fully perform stem cell therapy in their own practice, achieving up to four times the stem cell
count of earlier procedures,” said Jeremy Delk, managing director of MediVet-America. “It’s also a great opportunity to
grow a practice while doing what many veterinarians signed on for; to help people’s pets lead longer, better lives.”
Stem cell therapy for pets and other animals, such as those in the competitive performance equine market, first became
commercially available in the U.S. in 2003, but with expensive treatments, the procedure has been unaffordable for
many. MediVet-America’s Adipose Stem Cell Procedure will be available to the pet owner now 1/3 the current cost, and
can be performed by the Veterinarian with a trained technician in only a couple hours, making this a same day
procedure.
Veterinarians will be able to obtain the kits conveniently through a network of U.S. and Canadian distributors. For details,

Numerous case studies include “Sophie,” an 11-year old border collie suffering from severe osteoarthritis in her hips,
knee joints and elbows. Sophie had difficulty walking, trotting, and getting in and out of the car. Drugs provided only
minor relief. Just one month after the MediVet stem cell treatment, Sophie can run, jump and enjoy life. Her owner said,
“I have my old dog back again!”
