Other Notes from Jessica
o Use the Senate print account as much as possible, your own will start to get
depleted quickly
o The president may be in charge of the agenda, or you may be. Either way, you
are in charge of either making copies for the Senators or putting the agenda up
on the board. The same goes for any legislation that may be up that evening.
o Take all Election results, help tally votes and keep records for replacement
purposes
o Save all emails regarding Senate. You will want to have record of all
communication in case any questions or issues arise. Any information that would
be important for future Senates from those emails should go in the notebook
o Always save your documents in 2+ places
o Excused and Unexcused absences will be up to you (unless policies and
procedures are changed) so be sure to give them advanced notice at the retreat
and STICK WITH IT!
o Don’t post the prayer request on the Portal or up on the senate board
o See Office Info file on the portal for all codes, passwords, etc.
o YOU ARE GOING TO BE FABULOUS!!!
