French Revolution Timeline Project
Objective: Students will create a project that shows the main events of the French
Revolution in chronological order, and provide descriptions of the events. The
project is worth 50 POINTS.
The project can be anything that accomplishes the objective. Possibilities include,
but are not limited to:
Powerpoint
Movie/video
Posterboard
Annotated Timeline
Essay
Cartoon
Webquest
Jeopardy game (template available from Mr. Murphy; aka El Conquistador)
To receive an A, you must at least include:
42 events and accurate descriptions in chronological order
To receive a B, you must at least include:
37 events and accurate descriptions in chronological order
To receive a C, you must at least include:
31 events and accurate descriptions in chronological order
To receive a D, you must at least include:
26 events and accurate descriptions in chronological order
To receive an F, you must at least include:
Less than 26 events and accurate descriptions in chronological order
The following will add to your grade but will not detract:
 Creativity will be counted positively
 Uniqueness or individuality of project will be counted positively
 Use of technology will be counted positively
 Higher degree of effort will be counted positively
