Function Terms and Conditions
Food and Wine Bar
By signing this contract you are agreeing to the following terms and
conditions related to hosting a function, or being a guest at a function, at
the Barramundi Boys Fish Café Food and Wine Bar (here after the Fish
Café).
1. Tentative bookings will be held for seven days only. A holding deposit of
$200.00 is required within this seven day period to confirm the booking.

2. If cancellation occurs up to one month prior to the date of the event, the
holding deposit will be returned in full. If cancellation occurs 2 weeks prior to
the event, 50% of the holding deposit will be returned. If cancellation occurs
up to 2 weeks prior to the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.
3. A further 30% of the estimated even cost is payable 1 week (7 days) prior to
the event.
4. Final details of menus and arrangements are required no less than 10 days
prior to the event.
5. The Fish Café requires no less than 6 working days notice of the guaranteed
minimum number. Event charges are calculated on the final confirmed
numbers.
6. Food and beverage prices are subject to change at the discretion of the Fish
Café in accordance with market pricing fluctuations, and with market and
seasonal availability of ingredients.
7. A surcharge of 15% is applicable to events being held on public holidays.
8. To hire Terrace area exclusively for numbers under 35 (confirmed), a
$200.00 area booking fee will be applicable.

9. All prices listed include GST.
10. The Fish Café will allow for a bar TAB if requested, as well as pay-as-you-go
arrangements for beverages only. For food, the Fish Café accepts one bill
per function only.
11. The Fish Café reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to minors, those
with intent of supplying to minors, and intoxicated persons in accordance
with the Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements by the division of
Licensing.
12. The Fish Café is fully licensed and does not allow BYO. Persons found to be
supplied with external alcohol will be removed from the premises.

13. Due to Queensland Health Regulations, smoking is not permitted at the Fish
Café, in the terrace area, or within 4 metres of it’s entrances and open areas
(including the blinds in the terrace area).

14. A cleaning charge of $100.00 will be applied if confetti or foil sprinkles are
used within the event premises.
15. The Fish Café is not responsible for weather conditions that may affect the
event. It is the organizers responsibility to insure against loss and or damage
should adverse weather conditions affect or cancel the function. The Terrace
function area is not 100% weather proof and this should be taken into
consideration when booking a function.

16. The function organizer shall indemnify the Fish Café, their staff, agents and
contractors from, and against all liabilities, damage and claims due to, or
incidental to, the conduct and security of event guests, and any property loss
or damage to the event premises and/or any event guest.
17. The organizer shall pay the Fish Café the amount of any such property loss
or damage within fourteen (14) days.
18. The Fish Café will not accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of any
equipment left at the event premises prior to, during, or after the event.
Insurance cover is recommended for valuable items.

19. The organizer acknowledges that the Fish Café shall have the right to expel
or reject any even guest who behaves in an objectionable or unreasonable
manner.
20. The Fish Café accepts cash, EFTPOS, Bankcard, Visa, American Express
and Diners cards. It is the responsibility of the organizer to ensure that
regulations on their payment method (such as daily limits) will not prevent
payment by the due dates listed above.
21. The Fish Café does not accept cheques.
