they complete their reviews
and plans of improvement as
needed.
Description: The New York Special Education
State Performance Plan (SPP) requires districts
to develop IEP’s that include coordinated,
measurable, annual IEP goals and transition
activities that will reasonably enable the
student to meet the student’s measurable postsecondary goals.
This Regional Self Review Process will allow
participants an opportunity to conduct a
review of their own IEP’s. Participants must
bring a hard copy of their SWD’s current IEP ‘s.

Districts under Indicator 13 self review for the
09/10 school year are strongly urged to
attend. Districts interested in reviewing out of
their reporting year may do so for their own
district transition process of improvement.
