Six teams from a possible nine counties showed for this most frustrating and difficult discipline. The Champion with an excellent score was Chris Boakes (Kent) with 127, the Lady Champion was Charlotte Kerwood (Sussex) with 112, the Junior Champion was James Attwood (Kent) with 116, the Colt Champion, after a brilliant first round of 44, was Karl Williams (Berkshire) with 106 and the Veteran Champion was Dan Archer (Surrey) with 103. In the team event, which has always been won in the past by either Surrey or Sussex, a new county won, Kent were the champions with Sussex in second place and Surrey in third. Despite soul destroying scores for some I think most people enjoyed themselves and my thanks go to Barry Desborough and his team for an enjoyable day Sandie Buckler South East Regional Secretary
