First Holy Communion Classes commence on Thurs 25th Sept at 4.15pm, in the Rectory at Goring.
Induction as Parish Priest. The official ceremony of Installation of Fr Antony as PP by the Dean of South Oxfordshire Deanery will take place in Goring Church at 7.00 pm on
Tuesday 7th October. Parishioners are most cordially invited to attend and take part.
Church Cleaning – The faithful teams who have done this essential work for decades need new recruits. It only involves one hour every five weeks. The more volunteers the quicker
the work gets done.
Offertory Counting Teams – Many thanks to those who are already involved. Could we have a few more volunteers, please? It would be a great help. Names by email or by phone to

Weekday Mass Readers – If you attend on all or some days and are willing to read please step forward as and when you notice no one else is available.
Cardinal Vaughan Memorial Run for Charity. To celebrate the Centenary of the great London school he founded, Chris Bailey, a PE teacher will run from Gloucester (Vaughan’s
birthplace) to Westminster Cathedral (his burial place). He will pass through Goring on 17 th September. (See poster in the porch). Website for donations is printed on the poster.
Message from Fr Tom: Here in Kamenisce, I have met with the same kindness that I always found in the Parish I have left. I asked that no leaving Collection should be taken up,
but I gather that an impromptu collection was taken up; £300.00 for Cirdic and £2,000 for my own expenses. I want to thank those who donated and especially for those who
offered prayers. I didn’t think I would need the money, but wear and tear is overtaking me and they have had to rustle up a wheel chair to get me to Church, a couple of times so I
might need more sophisticated transport; I have, well and truly joined the "Oldies" ( ...and I find them delightful company) but in joining the "Oldies" I have suddenly found
time to think and to pray - two great gifts which you helped me to discover. Love and Blessings Fr.Tom
