Richard Bloomfield, Singer/Songwriter Richard Bloomfield is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from the South Coast of NSW and has been performing and songwriting since he was nine. He has been a featured performer in various television shows like ‘Southern Stars’, (in the Wollongong Entertainment Centre) and ‘Schools Spectacular’, (in the Sydney Entertainment Centre broadcast on national television). He is currently in the Talent Development Project in Sydney and the lead singer/guitarist and songwriter in ‘Graces Secret’ who have almost finished their second recording ‘The Chocolate EP’. Richard is currently managing Graces Secret and is booking dates and venues for ‘The Topdeck Tour’ in January 2009. Recently Richard has been recording ‘The Chocolate EP’ with ‘Graces Secret’ at Mainstreet Studios in Wollongong and The Sonic Factory in Sydney. Richard has also recorded at Phil Rigger Studios in Sydney and Pirate Studios in Bega and has owned a home studio setup since he was ten. He has had songwriting tuition from Glen Cunningham and Erana Clark (Australian Idol), and was also in the top 100 of Australian Idol when he was 16. Richard plans to finish his HSC this year then do ‘The Topdeck Tour’ with his band in January 2009 then move to Sydney in February to pursue a career in songwriting, performing and recording with ‘Graces Secret’ and on other projects.
