DIRECT WITHDRAWAL AUTHORIZATION
The Jones County Treasurer’s office is pleased to offer an easy, safe, and convenient way to pay property taxes. With this
completed authorization, your payments will be automatically transferred either semi-annually, or monthly, from your
checking or savings account directly to the County’s account. We offer this option as a way to save you time, have the
option of making convenient monthly payments, and also help avoid penalties associated with forgotten or late payments.
Taxes must be current to participate in this program. The completed authorization form must be in the Treasurer’s office
on the last business day of the month before the deduction starts. In August each year, the taxes will be reviewed and the
withdrawal amount adjusted accordingly. The taxpayer will be notified by mail or email of the revised amount.
Please note, at this time, special assessments are not included in this payment program. Only property taxes for the
parcels listed on this form will be paid through the ACH debit process. Written verification of additions or deletions to
this list must be submitted to the Treasurer’s office.

This transaction will take place on the 20th day of each month for which a payment is scheduled. If the 20th day falls on a
weekend or holiday, the money will be transferred the following business day. This authorization is to remain in full
force and effect until the Jones County Treasurer has received written notification from one of the individuals listed below
of its termination in such time and in such manner as to afford the Jones County Treasurer reasonable time to act upon it.
