SHOWCASE OF STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Dear Mansfield University Students,
On April 22, 2015, Mansfield University will host the 5th Annual Showcase of Student Scholarship in
Alumni Hall Student Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The goal of this day is to showcase your
scholarly and creative work, celebrating through recognition what you have accomplished. We invite
you to submit an application to participate in this celebration.
To apply to participate in the showcase, please complete the attached form and submit it to
showcase@mansfield.edu by April 1, 2015. You must have your application endorsed by a member of
the faculty.
The tentative schedule of events is as follows:
Posters
Alumni 307 and corridor
Session I: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Session II: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Authors present for at least an hour during session
Posters should fit in 48 x 36 ½ inch space
Oral Presentations
Alumni 312, 314, and 317
1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PowerPoint Presentations to be 10-15 minutes
Art Exhibit and Multimedia Display
Alumni 307
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with artists present for at least an hour
for discussion and explanation
Portfolio of at least three works – 2D or 3D, videos, etc.
Poetry Reading and Music
Alumni 307
3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

showcase and the program schedule will be sent to participants by April 8, 2015.
