The flush plate has to be one of the most frequently used items in the bathroom, yet
it is often overlooked when it comes to design. International bathroom manufacturer
Vitra is set to change that with its chic range of flush plates which are available in
fashionable finishes and shapes.
Previously only available overseas, Vitra has now made it possible to buy its awardwinning flush plates in the UK. The portfolio includes eight designs; Sirius, Loop O,
Loop R, Loop T, Select, Twin 2, Twin O and Loop T Infrared. Each design is available
in a modern chrome plated finish, and for those looking for something at the cuttingedge of design, there are gold, white, black and glass finish options too.
Take for instance the dual flush plate Sirius; this noteworthy design has been
recognised internationally, winning an iF Product Design award.
The design is
centered around two stylish, circular buttons on a rectangular outer shape. Ideal for
contemporary settings, it can be chosen in matt chrome, or chrome plated finish, or
for a more striking aesthetic it can be selected in a gloss white or matt black finish.
It’s also available with a hygienic and easy-clean anti-fingerprint finish. The neat
design measures L24.4xW16.5xD0.8cm.
Providing the complete bathroom solution, Vitra’s flush plates can be used in tandem
with its wall-hung frames and concealed cisterns to create a really sleek and modern
look. This method hides the WC’s pipework in the wall and leave the floor clear,
