AP Lang & Comp Students are required to take Cornell style notes on all “Method” readings. These notes
will be kept in your journal as reference for tests, quizzes, & writing papers.
MLA handbook: Become familiar with the use of MLA. MLA style is required for ALL writing for this
course. Please refer to pages 49-79 in the text for examples and explanation.
Journal assignments will be given for specific readings TBD. Use 3 column style notes/ journaling as
modeled and directed by instructor. (See handout for form & journal guidelines)
