Reports To: Director of Operations

Description:

The primary function of the Director of Compliance and Technology will be to lead the company in its focus to provide up to date and accurate understanding of all state/ federal air quality compliance and regulatory aspects relating to the oil & gas industry. The successful candidate will

Act as a Liaison with federal and local regulatory bodies.

Serves as a point of contact for testing and regulatory matters.

Participate in partnerships with gas and oil groups, or committees to gain insight on current and upcoming regulations.

Maintain current reporting software database of all versions, updates and troubleshooting.

As a collateral duty an ideal candidate will also act as the lead on all IS&T related areas for the operations or management needs. Managing network services, selection of software requirements for field operations, and office management, and managing users workstations.

Communicating with service providers while working with the operations to ensure that it meets the required specifications.

Education:

In addition to a 4 year degree from an accredited college, equivalent or combinations of education plus experience the successful applicant will combine a minimum of 5 years management experience in business, technology and or compliance fields.

Requirements/ Responsibilities:

Compliance

 Firm understanding of EPA/ DEP air quality regulations

 Maintain an up to date database on all applicable laws and regulations that pertain to the natural gas Volatile Organic Compound Testing

 Define the applicable laws and regulations as they pertain to the company’s services

 provided

Develop methods of testing with equipment used for the field operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Understanding of Leak Detection and Repair fundamentals (LDAR)

Technology

Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite

Familiar with Networking as it pertains to the companies LAN/WLAN technology

Ability to perform desktop support for all users on the network

Installation of software and hardware for operations and office management

Advising and reviewing new or updates to software for system requirements and company needs

Research new software and hardware

Negotiate and advise on service agreements with software and hardware providers

Act as the liaison with outside or 3 rd party service providers of network support

Develop network protocols for security and network protection

Managing, monitoring and updating virus prevention systems

Implementation and monitoring of telecommunications systems
