You may save it electronically in your network folder or on a flash drive, or you may print it and hide it in a safe place (as long as you can remember where).Remember, we are not supposed to share our passwords with others. WHAT FOR??? USERNAME PASSWORD 1. Login to your LSD/LSVI/LSDVI This is your first initial &lastname, together. No strict rules for this password, and it never needs computer/and network Example: John Doe = jdoe or LSD\jdoe on Win7 to change. NOTE: Windows 7 logins must include the domain: LSD\username or LSDVI\username. If Computer/Network Username: Computer/Network Password: you have problems, contact the I.T. Dept. 2. Eduphoria / SchoolObjects (Appraise, Your e-mail address is your Eduphoria No strict rules for this password, and it never needs Helpdesk, Workshop, etc.) username:firstinitiallastname@lsdvi.org. to change. Oncourse (teachers only) www.oncoursesystems.com – for lesson plans and class web pages Username = firstinitiallastname Username is not case sensitive. Example: JDOE WebPams USERNAME: No strict rules and never needs to change, but the password is case sensitive. Same as above: username is your e-mail address. firstinitiallastname@lsdvi.org OnCourse Username: Same as #1 and #2; password does not need to change. (Suggestion: use the same password!) OnCourse Password: 5. E-Mail. This includes Outlook and remote access/Webmail. Your username and password are the SAME for both OUTLOOK and WEBMAIL: it is the same thing!!! Webmail URL: webmail.la.gov 6. Compass Information System (CIS) https://leads13.doe.louisiana.gov/hcs Your username is swe\firstname.lastname, but if your name was already in use at la.gov, you might have a slightly different login.IMPORTANT: Submit a Helpdesk ticket if you problems or are locked out. LA.GOV/Outlook Username: swe\ If you forget your username and/or password, just click the “Forgot” button and follow directions. CIS Username: Be careful to follow rules for creating username. If you forget your username and/or password, just click the “Forgot” button and follow directions. CVR Username: An account should be automatically created for you, with login credentials matching #1 above. If you have issues, submit a Helpdesk ticket. In the past, e-mail passwords had to be changed monthly, but most if not all of us no longer need to worry about this. 7. CIS Password: Stringent password requirements (see CVR site). Passwords expire after 90 days; must re-register to restore access. CVR Password: Password should match #1 above (your computer / network login.) 9. SER Password: Password Reset System asks for your E-Number, DOB, and last 4 digits of SSN. Username is your first initial + last name; the same as your network login. Renaissance Place Username: Username = your e-mail address. (This was suggested, but some of you may have created a different login name.) NetTrekker Username: Username: this was set up by YOU. If you forget it, submit a Helpdesk ticket. Discovery Streaming Username: No strict rules; it never needs to change. Renaissance Place Password: The monitor password is teach. No strict rules; it never needs to change. NetTrekker/BrainPOP Password: No strict rules; it never needs to change. Discovery Streaming Password: Username = lsd Password = eagle1 No login or password needed while on campus. Off-campus username = lsdviworldbook No username needed No login or password needed while on campus Off-campus password: Password is sch00l (The word “school” but zeroes instead of o’s) Password: teacher Username: lsdvi Username is your personnel number: P00_ _ _ _ _ _ (P plus 8 digits: take your personnel number and add zeroes in front of it to make an 8-digit number) ”P Number”/Personnel Number: P _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ http://startpage.lsdvi.org Password must be changed every so often; see LEO for more information. LEO Password: Set this as your Internet home page! HINT HINT: For numbers 1,2,3,4,10,11 & 12 above you can use the same password!! Just use it in ALL CAPS for JCampus. If you need to change your network password, please submit a Helpdesk ticket. For the passwords that need to change approximately every month, incorporate the month along with the password that never needs to change. EXAMPLE: BASIC PASSWORD = Computer. Use this for 1,2,3,4,10,11 & 12. For JCampus, use COMPUTER. For the “change monthly” password, use Computer9 in September (it’s the 9th month).
