PLEASE MARK ALL CLOTHING CLEARLY WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME Hairstyles - must be reasonable and suitable for school e.g. no multi tramlines, strange colours or extreme styles e.g. mohicans. The reasonableness of hair styles will be decided by the Head Teacher. Hair accessories such as slides, ribbons, bobbles etc. should be fairly simple and in school colours. Jewellery – For safety reasons we ask that children do not wear jewellery in school although a small, simple wristwatch is allowed. Children wearing rings, earings, necklaces etc. will be asked to remove them and they will be returned to them at the end of the school day. If children repeatedly wear jewellery, their parents will be invited into school to discuss the persistent ignoring of this policy. (Should parents wish their child to have their ears pierced they are asked to have this done at the very beginning of the summer holiday. This will hopefully give the ears time to heal and mean that your child will not miss PE lessons. Pupils wearing stud earrings will not be allowed to take part in PE sessions.) Nail varnish – should not be worn in school.
