1 Maria A. Gutierrez English 1311 Final Reflection 2 Interactions with new or already known people are great ways to get to know new things. Comparing and contrasting the response my interviewees gave me in the mayor interviews I made were interesting. This was because I had the opportunity to have some knowledge of what they are living, and have experience in the mayor I would like to study. I interviewed three different persons , this people were my aunt Rosario Renteria (teacher, artist) the second person was Jorge Contreras former student at the University at El Paso Texas and his mayor is computer engineering, the third and final person was my fifth grade teacher Lorenza Diaz currently she is a principal at an elementary school. The interesting fact of these three individuals that impacted me was that they studied and are studying what I am interested in and had divine ways to portray what these mayors inspire in them and their surroundings. Rosario Renteria is my aunt; this lady has had great depression in her life and has never given up in any of her dreams for anything. This depression is the death of her child Juan, he died from cancer and not wanting to get into details she gave me the reasoning “the show must go on”. Rosario believes in this quote because not conformed to being a teacher she is also a singer and nothing must prevent a show from keep going. She got her degree in Ciudad Juarez were she also worked for about ten years acknowledging the work of young students that had stupendous dreams. Rosario has a child named Diana and with the help of her beloved husband they are intending to give her daughter the best studies for her future. Rosario has gain knowledge of each effort that she has had to give, coming to El Paso was nothing clear to her and not acknowledging everything she had already done for herself she started once again with her dreams and putting her passes life behind. Rosario is not of much difference with Jorge Contreras, they both argue about some circumstances in life and do not think it is faire but jet they come to realize that it is their life and need to move on with what they want and need to have. Jorge Contreras is an eighteen year old that has his future mostly planed in his own extravagant way, although this individual also has had many disputes in his life he keeps fighting for his studies that are the ones that will provide his successful future. Jorge is studying for his mayor of Computer Engineering at The University of El Paso in Texas. When asking him of why 3 he decided on this mayor he answered, “I choose this mayor because I enjoy technology and I am very creative with finding new things to make function, not mentioning that my uncle is my inspiration and he studied the same mayor”. This gentleman finds even a rubber band interesting with the facts of all you are able to do with a one, objects as simple as this one captivates Jorge’s mind in an instant and not content with only objects he looked into technology to overcome his seize to conquer any new ideas that could help him and others. Jorge is a great student that enjoys acknowledging the work of others and learning anything know, facts creativity, and even stupidities are interesting to his attention. When I asked about his family his only response was that he leaves alone dealing with his sisters dilemmas and his school plus communicating to Guadalajara with his mother and father by radio, “it is not easy, but I want to have a superior future and not get stuck married like my sister and mother did,” Jorge said. I have known this boy since our freshman year in Americas High school, he was chubby very white and illogically smart, I say this because within all the sentimental disaster in his life going on at that point in our lives he somehow exceeded in ROTC and every single one of his classes. Lorenza Diaz, a lady with sensible tact of humanity was one of the greatest teachers I could ever have; just like Jorge she impacts my life in many different ways. Lorry was a great educator who with simple words makes understand her point of discussion and with her expressions one is able to arrange in some way her emotions. This lady is crude sometimes but she does this so you are able to get the point that life is not easy and one has to achieve their next day while living dreams exposed to society. When asking her if the career of education has given her what she was expected she answered thoroughly, “this career may not be the best paying job and but it did give me the experience that I needed to become what I am right now and it helps me complete with the task that I proposed to myself when child” my next question was what is it that she had proposed herself, “helping children succeed with less difficulty not like me, and making the best of schools or at least of every single one of my classes each year”. “Where did you complete this mayor”? “I completed the mayor of Education at The University of El Paso at Texas and also took some courses at Community College, besides every certain time I have to go to 4 seminaries out El Paso to keep adjusting to changes in education. Does being a principal as you wished fulfill you? “It has in many ways, it is not the best paying job but it is stable and emotionally it is what I wanted”. Lorry is not much emotional, jet when she has the necessity to reveal any emotion she does with all her heart. Mayors are the most important achievement for many people, for others it is one more goal that will help with the rest of life. Rosario, Jorge, and Lorry are three completely deferent ego persons but although they are different they have something in common, they are very important to me. Some way or another they impact my life in some point in many ways. Conducting these interviews was an interesting process, I learned more about my mayor and even though I did not mention much academics I now know now where is the best place to get my mayor finished and accredited. The emotional differences for this individuals impact the way that I stereotyped some teachers, in some ways now I understand why some teachers see you with helpful eyes and are always offering their help. More than ever I will pursue my career to have my diploma in what I love and from where I want it.
