HMS Announcements for February 25, 2013
Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade string players. You are reminded to bring your
instrument to school tomorrow (Tuesday) for the String Night dress rehearsal. The
rehearsal will be held immediately after school in the high school auditorium and
should end by 3:50 pm. The String Night performance is Tuesday night. Call time is 7
pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. See Mr. Brennan if you have any questions.
The robotics club will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2:45.
The Science Olympiad Team will meet every day this week after school.
Attention all 8th grade Snow Leopards!!! Course Training will be held everyday
after school this week in the cafeteria. Please plan to attend. We need as many
Snow Leopard students as we can get!
Any 8th grade boys interested in learning the game of volleyball can attend the open
gym night at Haverford High School gym tonight (Monday) from 6-8pm. Coach
Moyerman will be instructing. This is open to all 8th grade boys.
Don't miss the last Gaming Club for this school year tomorrow (Tuesday) in room
279 after school.
Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in participating in the track team this spring
should attend an informational meeting (tomorrow) Tuesday in gym A/B right after
school. Permission slips and other important forms will be handed out at this time.
If you have any questions or can't make the meeting, please see Mrs. Young in room
229.
If you are interested in trying out for the 7th grade baseball team you must attend a
meeting in Computer Lab 023 tomorrow (Tuesday) after school. If you have any
questions please see Mr. Brocklesby.
Workout Club will meet this Tuesday and Thursday in the fitness lab at 2:45. Be
ready to sweat.
All 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing lacrosse this spring should attend
the informational meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) in the cafeteria right after school.
All interested 8th grade baseball players, there will be a meeting tomorrow
(Tuesday) in room 022 immediately after school. If you plan on trying out attend the
meeting.
Any girl interested in playing Field Hockey at the high school next year should come
to a meeting in room 279 on Thursday to meet the Varsity coach. She will tell you
about the program plus give you information about some upcoming opportunities.
Eighth grade students must register for High School courses before March 1st.
