Mexican Wrap with Indian Flatbread Ingredients for Mexican Wrap (Per Pair) 60g minced beef ¼ onion 1tsp Taco seasoning ½ cup water oil for frying Method 1. Heat oil, fry onion until soft. 2. Add beef and fry until brown. 3. Add taco seasoning, and then water. 4. Simmer for a minute until the sauce thickens. To serve ¼ cup grated cheese 4 slices tomato Shredded lettuce ½ to 1 Tbs Indian Flatbread - Chapati or Roti Ingredients (Makes 2 Chapati) ¾ cup wheat flour Pinch of salt 1 tsp oil 75ml warm water Method 1. Put the flour, oil and salt in a bowl and add the water gradually. Mix with hand whilst adding to get a sticky consistency. 2. Get your hands in and start kneading, approx. 2 minutes will do but the longer you do the softer the finished dough. 3. Separate the dough into 2 evenly sized pieces. 4. Sprinkle a little flour on table-top and a rolling pin and roll dough into a round shape. 5. Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat. No oil is required on pan. Reduce heat slightly and add the first flat bread. It will take approx. 1-2 minutes to cook. 6. Brush a little oil on flatbread. When the top begins to bubble and rise, flip over and press down with egg slide. Then cook again for approx. 1 minute. 7. Repeat to cook the second one. 8. Serve with cooked meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and salsa.
