Dear Sir/ Madame My name is Neeraja and I am 23 years old. I am born in Denmark, and have lived all my life here with my parents. I am doing my final year in Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Science, and will be finishing it in January 2012. I’m expecting to study further from September 2012, but in the meantime I would like to get some working experience abroad. I love meeting new people and like developing myself both professionally and personally. I have an outgoing, diligent personality, and I enjoy the challenges of working in busy environments. I like helping people, and care a lot about others, and I feel I have the opportunity to do that, being in this branch. Some of my relatives told me about your hospital, Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospital. I got curious and found your homepage on the internet. I have always wanted to work in India, and from what I’ve read and heard I would really like to work in your hospital. Since I’m a Tamil girl I think it will be very easy for me to mingle with the staff and patients. It will be an unforgettable experience for me if I get the opportunity to work in your hospital. If it’s possible, I am interested in working in the period from February 2012 to August 2012. Doing my course, I had a lot of clinical experience. I have been in departments like Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical microbiology, and clinical Nuclear medicine. I am familiar with the clinical significance and the analytical performance of the test procedures. Other than that I have been working with nuclear medicine instrumentation used for production of nuclides, measurements of doses, surveying radioactivity and imaging SPECT/CT. In addition, my studies and experience have though me to be accurate and efficient in organizing my work. Contact with patients doing tests is not new for me, because it has been a part of my clinical internship doing my course. In my free-time, I have been working in an institution for disabled children since 2006. It has taught me a lot, and the experience has been very useful for me. It has given me the ability to deal with the needs of all types of people I have been in India 3 times before, in my summer vacations. I talk Tamil, Danish and English fluently, and I can manage talking and understand German, so the language will not be a hurdle for me. If it is possible to having me work in your hospital, I would like to know some details about the salary and accommodation. I do not have any relatives in India, so I would like to know if it is possible to stay near the hospital? If it so, I would like to know how much it will costs to stay in there for approximately 6 months? It will be a pleasure for me to work in Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospital. I am really excited and looking forward for your feedback. Thank you! Yours faithfully Neeraja Srimurugan Tranevej 12, 7430 Ikast Denmark sneeraja@hotmail.com
