Teacher Trainings
New Teacher Trainings
This training is mandatory for teachers and EAs who are new to
teaching in a NM PreK classroom.
Teachers will be introduced to the PreK Observational
Assessment Tools; receive tips for organizing authentic
observations and learn strategies for preparing portfolios for
families.

Returning Teacher Trainings
Teachers and EAs returning to NM PreK will choose from one of
the below trainings to extend upon the AODCP process and
deepen their practice. This training is mandatory for teachers and
EAs who are returning to NM PreK.
Promoting Children’s Success: Building Relationships and Social
Emotional Teaching Strategies
Teachers will learn to facilitate children’s social and emotional
development so that children have the skills and foundation to be
successful. This training will focus on supporting children as they
learn to solve problems, build friendships and communicate their
emotions.
Powerful Interactions
Teachers will learn practical and influential ways to interact with
young children. Join us as we explore a number of practical
insights and strategies that can help to increase our effectiveness
as educators of young children.
