Have annual Professional Development Plans (PDP) for each PreK staff on file (include
PreK administrators & supervisors to meet required Program Standard II-a).
 Include mandatory 6 credit hours completed per program year for staff that
do not have required early childhood licensure and degrees.

The following health exams/screenings need to be documented for each child:
 Current Immunizations –(follow licensing rules-CYFD)
 Physical exam
 Dental Screening
 Vision Screening
 Hearing Screening
Developmental Screening—Screenings must be conducted on each child in the
program. Screening MUST contain a social-emotional component. The teacher MUST have a
copy of the screening results and documentation must be accessible for monitoring visits. Screening
results MUST be shared with the parent at the first parent-teacher conference.
