School Supply Wish List
Thank you for donating to Northeast College Prep! Northeast College Prep is opening at 2511 Taylor Street NE with grades
Kindergarten - 3rd this August, growing to K-8. It is an International Baccalaureate school that is prioritizing closing the
achievement gap and is modeled after Global Academy (recently named the #1 school in the state for closing the achievement
gap). Everyday, all of our students will take both Spanish and Arabic and have Physical Education. Through a calm and
peaceful school culture, our students will develop social-emotional skills and develop unique talents that they will explore in
partnership with community organizations. Our student population of over 145 so far is quite diverse and over 90% qualify
for free or reduced lunch. The amount of school supplies that we can get donated reduces the amount families will need to
bring or the school will need to buy. With this saved money, we can purchase other classroom materials.
Details about the supplies:
There will be 168 students in our school, with about 24 students per class. They will go to Arabic and Spanish and Physical
Education classes too. The supplies will be shared with all classroom and specialist teachers, we estimated 300 of most things
so each student has materials in all classes throughout the year. We will happily accept any number up to the number listed (i.e.
15 erasers is great even though it says 300). We don’t need more than the number listed (i.e. no more than 300 please).
If you would like to make a donation, please contact Erika Sass, Assistant Director, at 612-323-1425 or
esass@northeastcollegeprep.org. You can drop donations off to the school or Erika can come and pick up donations from
you. The school is located at 2511 Taylor Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418. We are usually there from 7am – 4pm on
weekdays and can easily arrange to be there outside of those times in the evening or on weekends. To ensure that we are there
in July, please email or call ahead. Starting, August 4th we will be there consistently 7am – 4pm. Thank you so much for your
donations!
Supply Wish List
 100 packages of Crayola Twistables Crayons (plastic, twistable crayons)

 200 packages of Crayola Twistable Color pencils (plastic around it to prevent breaking and twist to sharpen)

 300 red, 300 blue, 300 yellow and 300 green wide ruled notebooks
 1,000 Dixon Ticonderoga #2 Pencils (we prefer this exact brand because they last the longest with multiple
sharpenings and the erasers are the best, but any number 2 pencil will work)

be all one color). Preferably 55 blunt tip (for kindergarten) and the rest can be more pointed tip.
