Communicator Mobile extends IM and presence information to
Nokia
devices,
giving
your
workforce
more
real-time
communications capabilities. Easily access and search your company
directory for colleagues’ information. Use traffic lights presence
information generated based on Microsoft® Outlook calendar
information and user activity to see accurate availability status. Select to
initiate instant messaging conversation with one or many contacts or
simply make a phone call. All designed to give users greater flexibility
on how they communicate.
EASE OF USE
This is an easy-to-use application instantly locating presence information
for your Communicator contacts in your Nokia device’s phone book. Users
can see their Office Communicator buddy list with presence information
and initiate IM, email or cellular calls. The search function supports partial
names and best effort matching for quick contact searches and the
application can be easily launched from the native phonebook application
and home screen. Configuration is easy with a simple login screen.
MOBILE FRIENDLY
Communicator Mobile has the convenience of an “Always On/Active”
client. Users are able install the application from the OVI store, and the
application has been designed to integrate with the device’s phone book.
Roaming sign-in can be limited to reduce data charges.
