Breeding Contract:
This contract is for the 2015 breeding season, made and entered into by and
between Harvey Seidel, Bar None Morgans, 355 Bar None Drive, Thermopolis
WY 82443 , hereafter designated as stallion owner, and owner of mare.

Stallion, ___________________________ (name of stallion) AMHA
#__________ breeding/service fee is: TruWest Silver Suede $800.00 or private
treaty; Devine Cool Hand Luke $600; Bar None Eli $500, non refundable
deposit of $450.00 is to be made with this contract, and the balance paid when
mare is 45 days in foal. If all monies are not paid by December 1st of the
calendar year in which the mare was bred, a stallion service report will not be
filed for the breeding of said mare, and the foal will be un-registerable. All
monies must be paid to the stallion owner before said owner will sign the
stallion owners service certificate portion of the foal's registration application.
(In the case of multiple breedings to the same owner a special discount may
apply for the second and/or additional breedings.)
3) The mare owner agrees:
a) There is additional cost of mare care at the rate of $5.00 per day for mare and
$7 for mare and foal.
b) Should artificial insemination be selected as the breeding choice, there is an
additional cost of $150.00 for initial collection and shipping of semen. If
additional doses are required, the cost will be $100 for collection plus any
shipping costs. Shipping costs vary, so a set fee cannot be designated. Mare
owner further agrees to notify the stallion owner at least twenty-four hours
prior to the desired shipment of fresh cooled semen.
c) Should the mare prove barren (not in foal) as determined by a licensed
veterinary examination or should the foal die at birth, the mare owner will send
notice of such, signed by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of said
determination.
d) If the mare does not conceive on the first two heat cycles, the mare must be
cultured and be negative for infection and proof of same be provided to the
stallion owner before further shipments will be made.
4) The stallion owner agrees that:
a) The breeding fee guarantees a live standing foal. Such definition means a
foal stands and nurses. If foal does not stand and nurse a licensed veterinarian
shall determine the cause of death before additional semen shipments are sent.
b) Should the foal die because of injury or neglect, the stallion owner is under
no further obligation in the matter. In all matters a Veterinarian report is
required.
5) The stallion owner and mare owner mutually agree:
a) This contract is invalid unless completed in full by both parties designated
in the above blanks.
b) Should the above-named stallion die or become unfit for service or should
the above mare die before being served (unless both parties agree to a substitute
mare) this contract becomes null and void and the deposit refunded to the mare
owner, except any previously incurred transporting or collection expenses plus
reasonable expenses.
c) Should the mare prove barren or should the foal die at birth without standing
and nursing, with a veterinarian certificate given to the stallion owner within 10
days, the stallion owner has the option to either re-breed the mare, ( the only
expense to the mare owner being the transportation and collection fees) or to
refund $200.00. After the mare owner agrees to the above, this contract is
considered fulfilled and the entire contract is canceled.
d) The above mare will not be served through more than four estrous cycles
during the entire breeding season as designated above.
