On a daily basis our school phases the problem of litter on the campus. Throughout the school year lots of water bottles, plastics and papers are seen interfering with the aesthetic beauty of our campus. We visualize our school campus free of litter and with a flowering environment. Thus one of the easiest way to contribute in having and beautifying a clean healthy environment is by reducing litter. To do this we, would recycle the water bottles and use them as means of reservoir for growing plants, such as short term crops and ornamentals. This would in turn provide fresh healthy food for the school cafeteria and beautify the school grounds with a variety of natural flowers. Our school has a major program on agriculture where students at the four levels, are actively involved and thus we believe that this new project would be a compliment to elicit all students and invite staff members to be partakers of recycling and beautifying the environment. Water bottles are available throughout the school year in significant quantities that are just considered litter, of which are being disposed of campus on a daily basis. With the necessary resources at hand and free of cost, this makes the project easier to accomplish geared towards a sustainable program.
