New Program Director Checklist New Programme Director Checklist – Ref: AB/QA/0030/Aug14/V1 1. Ensure you are recorded as Programme Director for the Centre – contact your Quality Manager. Once you are recorded as Programme Director you will be given a username and password for the CMI Hub. 2. Check the CMI Hub Approval Documentation area to establish the quality assurance practices approved by CMI. 3. Review previous Centre Visit Report and address any outstanding actions. 4. Familiarise yourself with your Partnership Agreement (contact Quality Manager for copy if necessary). 5. Is there a schedule for standardisation and/or course evaluation meetings? For more information, please consult the CMI Centre Handbook, page 39. 6. Check register of current Learners and compare with CMI Current Learners Report (found on the CMI Hub) to ensure all Learners are registered with CMI. Note: all Learners should be registered within six weeks of starting programme. 7. Review Learner progress and achievement for existing cohorts. 8. Check that all staff are approved and records are up to date: a. Check Centre Staff Summary Report (found on the CMI Hub) and ensure all delivery and assessment staff are approved by CMI. Update Team Role Matrix on section 3.6 of CMI Hub whenever staff changes are made. d. Ensure copies of C.V., qualification certificates and CPD records are retained for all deliver and teaching staff. 9. Familiarise yourself with CMI Operational Documentation and Policies (see links below). 10. Ensure internal assessment briefs have been internally verified and sent to CMI for approval (email your Quality Manager). 11. Ensure assessment matrix on 7.1 of the CMI Hub is up to date and reflects current assessment practices. 12. Is there a sampling strategy and plan for future cohorts? For more information, please see page 46 of the CMI Centre Handbook. 13. Are there any Moderation batches with the status ‘Returned to Centre’ or ‘Insufficient Sample’ on the Moderation area of the CMI Hub? If so, these batches require action by your Centre. 14. Are there any third party relationships operating, and have these been approved by your CMI Quality Manager?
