PROGRAMME DETAIL AND OPTIONS: You must provide evidence of successful completion – see section 13
1. Option 1: No additional work required. You can apply for the level 4 Diploma at 61 QCF credits without having to
complete any work for the CMI. This will mean that Standard Learning Credits (SLC) will not be eligible.
2. Option 2: Additional work required. You can increase the size of the level 4 Diploma to 74 QCF credits by completing
2 externally assessed assignments adding 2 units: Management Report Writing, and Introduction to Management Coaching &
Mentoring. This provides a bonus level 5 Award in Coaching and Mentoring and may make SLC eligible.
Note: External assignments are only available on line once registration is complete. You have 9 months to submit this work. After
this time CMI will default certification to the level 4 Diploma at 61 credits. CMI will not refund the extra cost.
3. Option 3: Additional work required. You can apply for a standalone level 5 Award in Management Coaching and
Mentoring requiring the completion of an externally assessed assignment. This may make SLC eligible.
Note: External assignments are only available on line once registration is complete. You have 9 months to submit this work.
4. Option 4: Additional work required. By completing an externally assessed assignment, Introduction to Management &
Leadership you can apply for the level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership at 57 credits. This may make SLC
eligible.
