The entry deadline is Friday, November 2nd. Hey Nighthawks, next week is Homecoming Spirit Week and we want you guys to go all out every day to earn class points and show your Nighthawk Spirit! We will also have a class competition Homecoming everyday to earn even more class points. Monday is Pajama Day, so “roll” out of bed and come in Spirit Week your comfiest outfit. The Del Norte String Orchestra is performing with the World Famous Glenn Del Norte String Miller Orchestra on Sunday, November 4th at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the DNHS Performing Arts Orchestra Center. Tickets are on sale now at www.dnhsmusic.org. Northrop Grumman’s award winning High School Involvement Partnership (HIP) is coming to Northrup DNHS. In this internship high school seniors participate in a “hands-on" job training program for Grumman 17 weeks and earn high school credit. Students interested in this opportunity will need to attend Internship the mandatory meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th, at 1:15 pm. Ford Blue Oval Scholarship - Students with a parent in active duty military, reserve component, or active duty classified as POW or MIA are eligible to apply for a scholarship with awards ranging Military from $1,000 - $5,000.
