Alhamdulillahirabbilalamin, we give praise and thanks to Allah SWT, which was
nice member of faith, blessings of Islam, as well as health so that we can complete a paper
titled " Globalization " is a good and just in time. We would also like to thank all the parties

INTRODUCTION
1.1
Background
Globalization is a process for the establishment of an order, rule, and the
system that applies to nations around the world . Globalization does not recognize any
boundaries, even the rules of local, regional, state policies that can reduce the space for the
entry of values, ideas or thoughts that are considered to have the community 's willingness to
be eliminated. Globalization can apply in all areas of life, such as politics, economy, social,
culture and so on.
Globalization so quickly into the various parts of the world, this happens because the
sophisticated tools of information and communication technology at this time. Therefore, the
State can smart filter where the culture of globalization and take positive and discard the
negative cultural globalization.

DISCUSSION
2.1
Understanding Globalization
The term of globalization comes from the word "globe" (spherical world map).
From the word "globe" is then born the term "global" (which means it covers the whole
world). From the word "global" was born the term "globalization" which means a global
process.
Globalization is a trend in society to merge with the world, especially in the field of
science, technology, and improved communications media future. In addition, the western
scholars say that globalization is a process of broad-paced life, not limited and encapsulate all
aspects of life, such as political, social, and economic that can be enjoyed by all people of the
world. Globalization is essentially the process generated by an activity that is sustainable
impact through the boundaries of nation and state. Given that the world is marked by
diversity (plurality) culture, the globalization as a process is also marked as an event that is
happening around the world in cross culture while realizing the interplay between cultures.
The meeting between cultures is not always take place as a two-way process
impartial, but also as a process of domination budayayang one against the other. For example
the influence of western culture is stronger against the culture in eastern countries.
The notion of globalization in the field of human rights has existed several centuries
before Christ, when Moses freeing his people from slavery in ancient Egypt. Pharaoh cruelly
oppress and enslave the people of Prophet Moses to basic rights as a human being deprived of
them. Moses led his people to emigrate over the limit for the Egyptian State seek their
freedom. The struggle to defend human rights is forwarded by the next generation, until
finally managed to give birth to what is called the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
(Universal Declaration of Human Rights Worldwide) by the United Nations on December 10,
1948.

The Drivers Of Globalization
There are three factors causing increasing globalization, namely :
1. A change in world politics
2. The flow of information quickly and widely,
3. and the rapid growth of international corporations / transnational.
2.3
The Impact Of Globalization For Indonesia
Here are some of the effects of globalization for Indonesia, both positive and negative :
a. Indonesia becomes easier to obtain goods, services or information required, up from
domestic and from abroad.
b. Indonesia with a population of more than 200 million into a soft market for other
countries. Whether it be a foreign-made goods, foreign workers who fill various types
of expertise and positions , as well as the flood of information that beluim necessarily
correspond with the values that exist in Indonesia .
c. Globalization with major issues of democratization and human rights, without being
alert and wise people will easily ingested issues are not responsible under the guise of
democracy, human rights and freedoms.
d. Globalization becomes a practical medium for the spread of foreign cultural values
into the territory of Indonesia
