WOW Field Trip Information
Come take flight at World of Wings, a one-of-a-kind entertainment and education center
committed to delivering a truly unique and wholesome experience to visitors of all ages!
What’s included with your field trip:




Exhibition Hall [Live Animal Exhibits] – Observe live reptiles, amphibians, and other cool creatures.
Butterfly Atrium - Our indoor tropical paradise filled with butterflies, moths, birds, fish, and turtles.
Butterfly Hatchery – See butterflies and moths emerge from their chrysalises and cocoons!
Movie – Enjoy a film from WOW’s variety of Science & Nature Documentaries. (Optional)
 (Options Available for all grade-levels & age-groups.)
 Lunch Space – Available upon request. (No additional fee required.)
 WOW suggests bringing personal packed lunches.
 Free Play – Explore the many play spaces at WOW!
Booking a field trip at World of Wings ensures that your group will have a set time to visit the Atrium and Exhibition Hall.
World of Wings will also provide your group with a space to eat lunch if needed at no extra cost.
Groups can enjoy time for free exploration, during which you can visit other attractions, and enjoy WOW's play spaces!
Pricing& Payment Details:
 Standard Field Trip Package (Guided Tour): $10 / per person (Children & Adults)
 Basic Field Trip Package (No Guide - Self Exploration): $8 / per person (Children & Adults)
o
Teachers, staff, aides, nurses, etc. are always free when visiting with field trip groups!
o
Additional chaperons such as parents are required to pay field trip admission cost.
o
Add-on activities and services also available (Additional rates may apply).
Optional add-on activities and services are available if you’d like to experience more during your trip, or if
you’ve visited us before and want to try something new!

Booking & Reservations:
o To Check Date Availability, Please call or email WOW Field Trips Department.
o All Groups MUST Fill out a Field Trip Reservation Form. [Submit via:email / fax / mail.]
o Once you have submitted your Forms aField Trip Team Representative will contact you to confirm your
booking & review trip-date/time &any additional details[e.g. Lunch Request, Add-ons, food orders.]
o WOW does not require any advance deposit at this time.
o Full Payment can be submitted on the day of visit. (Accept: Cash, Check, & Credit [Not Discover])
IMPORTANT REMINDER: All guests should wear SOCKS! Some of our attractions require guests to
remove their shoes, and socks must be worn at all times in these areas.

WOW Field Trip Information
Availability (Weekdays) Monday – Friday between 9:30am and 6:00pm.
 (Start Times): 9:30 - 10:00 - 10:30 – 11:00 – 11:30 – 12:00 (Later start times available if needed)
 (End Time) 2:30 pm Latest’s Departure time for morning field trips.
- Times listed apply to regular school-day (weekday) field trips.
- Weekend trips available upon special request – Alternate Rates Apply.
- Afternoon time slots are available upon request.
FIELD TRIP Duration: 2 hours – 3 hours
 Minimum = 1.5 Hours (Suggested)

Maximum = 4 Hours (Set Max-Limit)
Groups of +50 students will most likely be asked to divide into smaller groups as evenly as possible.
WOW Staff members will instruct groups as to how they will be progressing through their tour.
LUNCH ROOM:Available upon request.-No additional fee.
(Lunch Time Slots can be selected by group. NOTE Lunch-Time options are First Come- First Serve.)
WOW will do its best to ensure all groups a lunch time & lunch space.
Groups should bring BAGGED LUNCH. (FOOD from outside vendors NOT ALLOWED!)
Lunches should be divided by class/section and collected in a marked (box / bin / bag).
Recommended – for large groups to help avoid confusion or misplaced lunch items.
Lunch Time RESERVATION:
If you would like to reserve a lunch spot for your group, you must request it when scheduling your field trip.
Please arrive at the reserved location at least five minutes prior to your scheduled lunch time.
DURATION: Each group is allotted a half-hour for lunch. Bagged lunches will be kept at the reserved spot.
If your group plans on ordering food through our facility please let us know at least 2 days prior to your field
trip date. We have a menu available upon request for food and pricing options.
Groups will be assigned a designated eating section,
(Please contain all students as well as all personal belongings within designated area.)
ACCOUNTABILITY – LATE POLICY
 Please be punctual. If your group arrives late and misses any scheduled activities, WOW cannot
guarantee that your group will be able to visit what was missed.

RESCHEDULING - (Inclement weather cancelations)
 Groups are always welcome to reschedule their trip for a future available date if circumstances prevent
you from attending your originally scheduled date. (Please contact WOW Field Trip Rep. to reschedule).
WEEKEND TRIPS (Alternate details apply)
For groups interested in Weekend Trips please call to speak directly with a Field Trip Sales Representative.
o Guided Tours are Unavailable for weekend trips - Unguided Group Trips Only.
 First Come First Serve Basis.
 Max Attendance 50 ppl.

WOW Field Trip Information

STEP 1: One representative from all groups must check-in at the reception desk upon arrival.
o (Reception desk located at the main entrance of the building)
STEP 2: WOW staff members will guide group into facility when group is ready.
All students & chaperones should remain on the bus until instructed to do otherwise.
STEP 3: DROP OFF LUNCHES, COATS, BAGS, Etc.
Groups will store lunches or any other personal items in a designated area before beginning their tour.
Please note, if groups arrive late tours may be abbreviated to ensure adherence to schedule.
Please arrive on time to experience all WOW has to offer!


Groups will receive a scheduled itinerary of events to help guide them through their visit.

Please follow the schedule as closely as possible. WOW staff will provide a clear description of field trip program to the full
group upon arrival.
 WOW Tour Guides & Staff will be available to assist during trip.
 All groups rotating through our museum attractions and activities must comply with their assigned schedule.
 To ensure a safe, fun, and efficient experience we require full cooperation from all guests.
All visitors must remain within the scheduled guide-lines &pre-arranged plan. Veering from the schedule results in an inability to
circulate groups through our exhibits and prevents optimal experience.
Buses and Transportation
DROP OFF& PICK UP:WOW Field Trip Groups traveling by bus can be dropped off at the main entrance, unless
instructed to do otherwise.
Please inform bus drivers of WOW’s drop off spot, (Located at the main entrance of the museum, in the front of the
building by the giant butterfly.)
Teachers, chaperones, and students can be dropped off at the main entrance, near the butterfly statue, for checkin. (unless instructed to do otherwise)
BUS PARKING AVAILABLE – No additional Fee
Buses can access the back entrance by making a left at the roundabout & continuing forward until the wooden
bridge is in sight. *Please do not park in the front of main entrance - it is a fire / safety hazard.*
Lateness & Accountability:
 All Groups should plan to arrive at their scheduled time, (or a few minutes early)!
 If groups arrive later than expected, the activities and events scheduled are subject to be shortened,
rescheduled, or potentially cancelled.
If a school is expecting to arrive late due to transportation complications please notify WOW as soon as
possible, so the schedule adjustments can be made and complications can be minimized.

Cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made (1 week) prior to the scheduled visit.

Butterfly Atrium
o A Tropical Paradise filled with hundreds of exotic Butterflies & Moths!
Butterfly Hatching Room (Pupa Chamber)
o Chrysalises & Cocoons complete Metamorphosis and emerge as Adult Butterflies!
Exhibition Hall (Reptile Room)
o Live Reptile & Amphibian exhibits &A collection of exotic insects!
Class Craft Activity *NOTE: Not included with (Basic Package - Self Guided)*
o Fun & educational projects for all ages. Kids keep their colorful creations!
Lunch Time: Available seating space for groups who bring their own lunch.

Gift Shop: WOW offers a 7% discount to all field trip groups visiting our gift shop.

The World of Wings staff is ready and willing to work with every educator to create an appropriate field trip
experience for their students. We cater our educational content to the specific knowledge-base and developmental level of
