SENIORS: Please follow your “Senior Class Important Information Booklet”. If you are following the timeline of
your booklet the next Important Date is the Cap & Gown and Medallion Orders on February 4th which will be held in
the Cafeteria during lunch periods. Following that, we will have the Sign-up for Commencement Speakers starting on
February 17th. To keep up with your dates, you must read your booklet! Save the dates on the calendar in your phone and
be knowledgeable of your events!(2/4)

SENIORS The next Orders for Graduation Announcements, Cap & Gowns and Medallions will be taken on
Wednesday, February 4th during lunch periods in the Cafeteria. Payment in full or a $60.00 deposit is required with your
order for Announcements and a payment of $32.00 is required for your Cap & Gown and Medallion. Please bring Cash
or Personal Check payable to Herff Jones. See the Announcement display on order day in the cafeteria
Extra order packets are available in the Principal’s Office. (2/4)

Seniors: The Brush Prom Fashion Show has been changed to Friday, March 20, 2015. With Rehearsal on Thursday,
March 19th. We are in need of 30 handsome fellas and 30 fabulous girls to strut their stuff down the Cat Walk. You must
be a Senior, you must get the Permission Slip from Mrs. Campana and you Must turn in the Permission slip with $5.00
back to Mrs. Campana by January 30th. This is on a first come first serve basis. Dare to live your dream!(1/30)

Flower Grams Seniors will sale Valentine’s Day Flower Grams as a fundraiser towards prom. Starting today, Friday
January 30th and until Wednesday February 11th during lunch periods. Support your Senior Class! So think of someone
who would love to get a flower gram from you. The cost is $3.00 for Roses and $2.00 for Carnations. (1/30)

Calling all students, clubs, history buffs and competitive forces!!! Introducing the African American History Academic
Bowl!!!! In preparation for African American History Month, we are encouraging students to form teams to participate in
the African American History Academic Bowl. The African-American History Bowl will give students and participants
the opportunity to learn more about African American history in a fun and competitive arena. This activity will be very
similar to Academic Challenge and its format. This is a great opportunity to learn more about African- American history
and its impact on our society while having fun and working as a team. The Bowl will be held on February 27, 2015.
Please pick up an entry form from Mrs. Sorrells in Room B111. (2/6)

Science Olympiad- Science Olympiad will meet Monday, February 2nd in room B02 from 3:15 to 4:30.(2/2)

Get ready Ninth Graders: The event known as "Know Abuse" is coming your way very soon! All Ninth Graders will
attend the "Know Abuse" performance in the PAC on Tuesday, February 3rd during second period, and then participate in
follow up discussion groups led by the performers during social studies classes. Don't miss this powerful program about
teenage dating and relationships. (2/3)

Any student interested in participating in Dr. Martin Luther King Oratorical Contest should see Mrs. Sorrells in Room
B111 by February 2, 2015. This is a great opportunity for all students who are interested in speech contests and building

ATTENTION BOOK CLUBBERS! Our next Book Club book has arrived! Pick up your copy of "Ready Player One"
from Mrs. Charnock in the library. Our meeting date is yet to be determined. (1/30)

Mock Trial Good Luck to the Brush Mock Trial Team who will compete tomorrow in Warren, Ohio in the Regional
High School Mock Trial Competition. All attorneys should stop by and see Mrs. Sorrells after school for some important
information. All Mock Trial members should meet in the front of the building on Friday at 7:10 a.m.

MAC Diamonds will not meet until Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Library.(2/2)

Yearbook The deadline to order a yearbook has been extended to February 6th. Don't miss this once in a lifetime
opportunity -- once they're gone they're gone. Yearbooks can be ordered on line at yearbookordercenter.com. , or forms
can be returned to the office with payment. (2/5)

Any 1st Semester Woodworking Student who has not picked up their woodworking projects please stop by after school
this week to pick up and take home their project.(1/30)

This is a reminder that Study Tables will resume February 2nd, and will continue to be held Monday and Wednesday
mornings in the library at 7:15 am. Make sure that you sign in with Mrs. Kaprosy so your teachers know you are there,
and so you can be matched up with a tutor if you need help in any of your classes. Can't wait to see you at study tables!
